PULITZER PRIZE WINNERS: The Los Angeles Times newspaper, the book "A Visit from the Goon Squad" and the endeavor "Clybourne Park" are among 2011's publisher Prize winners.

The honorees were announced Monday.

The Times won the publisher for open service, while the newspaper's Barbara Davidson picked up the take for feature photography.

Paige St. Evangelist of the Sarasota Herald-Tribune attained the take for investigative reporting; Mark Johnson, Kathleen Gallagher, Gary Porter, Lou Saldivar and Alison playwright of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel won the publisher for explanatory reporting; Frank Main, Mark Konkol and Evangelist J. Kim of the metropolis Sun-Times won for topical reporting; Jesse Eisinger and Jake director of ProPublica scooped up the accolade for domestic reporting; and Clifford J. Levy and Ellen Barry of The New royalty Times won for international reporting; and Amy Ellis Nutt of The Star-Ledger, Newark, N.J., garnered the take for feature writing.

David Leonhardt of The New royalty Times won the publisher for commentary; Sebastian Smee of The Boston Globe picked up the accolade for criticism; Joseph Rago of The Wall Street Journal won for his article writing; Mike Keefe of The Denver Post attained the take for article cartooning; and Carol Guzy, Nikki Kahn and Ricky Carioti of The pedagogue Post won in the breaking programme picturing category.

"A Visit from the Goon Squad" by Jennifer Egan won the take for fiction; "Clybourne Park" by doc author attained the take for drama; "The Fiery Trial: Abraham Lincoln and dweller Slavery" by Eric Foner garnered the take for history; "Washington: A Life" by Ron Chernow scored the publisher for biography; "The Best of It: New and Selected Poems" by Kay Ryan took the accolade for poetry; "The monarch of All Maladies: A Biography of Cancer" by Siddhartha Mukherjee lidded the generalized non-fiction category; and "Madame White Snake" by Zhou Long won the take for music.

NICK CASSAVETES: Scheduling conflicts are preventing Nick Cassavetes from directing "Gotti: Three Generations" as planned, the U.S. film's producers said.
