Louis-Dreyfus to star in new HBO series

LOS ANGELES, April 18 (UPI) -- Julia Louis-Dreyfus is to play vice president of the United States in a new HBO comedy series, Deadline reported.

Louis-Dreyfus is an accolade Award-winning actress prizewinning famous for her impact on the sitcoms "Seinfeld" and "The New Adventures of Old Christine."

Her latest project, "Veep," is ordered in Washington and was created by nation comedian, writer and administrator Armando Iannucci, who is famous for his U.K. series, "The Thick of It," Deadline said.

The show, ordered for a 2012 debut, will co-star Anna Chlumsky, Tony Hale, Sufe Bradshaw, philosopher Scott, Tim Simons and Matt Walsh, the entertainment news Web site said.
