Beach Boys release song for Japan relief

LOS ANGELES, Apr 16 (UPI) -- Former members of the Beach Boys feature they are emotional a newborn achievement to raise money for the Red Cross comfort effort in Japan.

The island commonwealth was devastated by a massive seism and tsunami terminal month and the Red Cross has been device in providing aid to those affected by the disaster.

In salutation to the tragedy, musician Al Jardine and his former Beach Boys bandmates Brian Wilson, Mike Love and Bruce general are emotional a 2-song achievement featuring the environmentally conscious cooperation "Don't Fight the Sea" -- which appears on Jardine's 2010 CD, "A Postcard from California" -- as substantially as an unreleased Beach Boys a capella mix from a 1968 transcription of the song, "Friends."

"We felt that the strain had a pleasant basic communication of friendship," Jardine said in a statement Friday. "I also same the intent of that song, because the vocals are a bit underappreciated. So this release was a amend place to showcase the intent of harmony and friendship. Everybody is behind it 100 percent, that's the pleasant part."

The Beach Boys free their terminal flat album, "Stars and Stripes Vol. 1," in 1996.
