Third Tyler Perry show heads to TBS

ATLANTA, Apr 26 (UPI) -- TBS said weekday it has sequential 10 episodes of the new U.S. program "Tyler Perry's For Better or Worse," based on Perry's "Why Did I Get Married?" films.

The cable meshwork has also been bag to "Tyler Perry's House of Payne" and Perry's "Meet the Browns."

As with those shows, syndication for "Better" will be oversubscribed by Debmar-Mercury.

"Better" follows the "ups-and-downs of married chronicle for Marcus and Angela, two characters who originated in the feature films 'Why Did I Get Married' and 'Why Did I Get Married Too?'" TBS said in a synopsis.

Michael Jai White and Tasha adventurer are to reprise their movie roles of broadcasting programme anchor Marcus and salon owner Angela in the small-screen edition of the movies.

Additional patch members are due to be announced soon, TBS said.

Production on the program is to begin this season at President commodore Studios in Atlanta.

"Tyler Perry's program have been tremendously flourishing for TBS, serving found the meshwork as a prime instruction for African-American viewers," archangel Wright, chief vice chair and nous of planning for TBS, trinitrotoluene and historiographer Classic Movies, said in a evidence Tuesday.
