Cassavetes not directing Gotti movie

LOS ANGELES, Apr 18 (UPI) -- Scheduling conflicts are preventing Nick Cassavetes from directing "Gotti: Three Generations" as planned, the U.S. film's producers said.

The movie is to star Evangelist Travolta as New Gambino evildoing boss Evangelist Gotti. Lindsay Lohan is in talks to endeavor Gotti's daughter, Victoria.

Variety said Cassavetes cannot direct the picture this start as designed because of his commitment to helm the drama "Yellow."

The producers of Gotti are today hunting for a replacement, the recreation industry trade production said.

Cassavetes has directed "Alpha Dog" and "The Notebook." He is the son of the New producer Evangelist Cassavetes and actress Gena Rowlands.
