'Mad Men' renewed for two more seasons

NEW YORK, March 31 (UPI) -- AMC and Lionsgate have declared they reached a deal to bring backwards the U.S. episode program "Mad Men," with creator Gospels Weiner to remain as showrunner.

The accord ensures the show, which is ordered in 1960s New York, module run for at small two more seasons, the series' ordinal and sixth.

It also was declared Weiner has signed a new long-term deal with Lionsgate, extending into a doable ordinal season.

The announcements were made by Charlie Collier, president of AMC, and Kevin Beggs, president of Lionsgate Television Group.

"I poverty to impart every of our wonderful fans for their support," Weiner said in a statement. "I also poverty to impart AMC and Lionsgate for agreeing to support the artistic freedom of myself, the patch and the crew so that we crapper continue to make the exhibit exactly as we have from the beginning. I'm agog to intend started on the next chapter of our story."

"We've been chesty to support this exhibit from the period we read Matt's ground-breaking pilot playscript and have loved building it with Matt and Lionsgate into the social phenomenon it has become," Collier said.
