It seems that "Glee" meet cannot win -- at least when it comes to either pleasing their fans or parents. For the upteenth happening this season, the Parents Television Council is expressing their displeasure over something the hit Fox exhibit does.

What is it this time? Dan Islett of the PTC, in an interview with The tone Reporter, cites a variety of problems throughout the episode:

  • The "sex tape" plot was racy: "Most notably was the communicating between a pair of students most wanting to become famous by making a stimulate tape ... Exactly what category of message is that?"
  • Holly was too extreme in her methods, especially when she was singing "Do You Wanna Touch Me" to the club: "If you had a real-life happening of that, I think it's clean to feature the pedagogue participating would no individual be a teacher. But somehow it's unexceptionable for a fictional pedagogue to do this. Again, this is a actual problem. Real-world teachers don't lap diversion with their students."
  • Ultimately, he thinks the exhibit sends a integrated message: "It's variety of queer how the exhibit has evolved. Because they variety of subconsciously put in these sections that speech most actual consequences of activity like that, but then focus on more [bad] behavior. They try to hit it both ways."

So is Islett right? It depends on how you countenance at. The thing people hit to remember is that "Glee" is not a exhibit that is for kids -- and parents need to know that before they earmark youngsters to watch. At the same time, the exhibit does do a good taste of marketing to a teen audience, including edifice products and modify nail polish.
