Gregg Allman heads out on solo tour

A healthy Gregg Allman is ordered for a unaccompanied holiday in support of his latest release, Low Country Blues, his prototypal unaccompanied record in 14 years. The medium debuted #5 on Billboard;s Top 200, his maximal chart position.

The prototypal sextet dates, Apr 19-26, are co-headlining gigs with the Steve playwright Band, followed by a unaccompanied trek that includes a intermixture of music festivals, theatres and clubs in the North America, aggregation and the UK.

Before launching his unaccompanied tour, Allman, along with the Allman Brothers Band, will be playing a 13-date act at New York’s Beacon Theatre (March 10-26), then head with the adornment to Live Oak, Fla. for their period three-day WANEE Festival, Apr 14-16.

Low Country Blues  was produced by T Bone Burnett and features Dr. Evangelist on piano, player Doyle Bramhall II, and rhythm section: bassist Dennis Crouch and drummer diplomatist Bellerose.
